Legal

Terms of use.

The ground rules for using this website — in plain English, like everything else here. Effective July 12, 2026.

What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of connectnyc.com, operated by Wave 2 Wave LLC (“ConnectNYC,” “we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. Internet service itself is governed by the subscriber agreement you receive at sign-up — that document, not this page, defines your service terms, and where they differ, the subscriber agreement controls your service.

Pricing and availability on this site

We publish real prices and we mean them: our no-contract, no-price-hike commitments are genuine service commitments reflected in the subscriber agreement. That said, website content is informational — availability at a specific address is confirmed at order time, plans and coverage evolve as the network grows, and taxes may apply where required by law. The address checker gives an instant estimate based on our current coverage area; a small number of buildings inside the zone may need additional setup before service can start.

Comparisons with other providers

Our comparison pages describe typical advertised and post-promotional pricing patterns for other NYC providers, clearly labeled as such, and are provided for information. Spectrum is a trademark of Charter Communications; Optimum is a trademark of Altice USA. Check current offers and your own bill before making decisions.

Acceptable use of this site

Don’t abuse the site: no scraping at disruptive volume, no attempting to breach or probe our systems, no submitting forms with false information or on someone else’s behalf without permission, and no using the site for anything unlawful.

Our content

The ConnectNYC name, logo, design, and site content belong to Wave 2 Wave LLC. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors and CARTO under their respective licenses. You may link to us freely — we’d be flattered.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website is provided “as is.” While we work hard to keep it accurate and available, we make no warranties about the website itself, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website. Nothing on this page limits the service commitments in a subscriber agreement or any rights you have under law that can’t be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute about the website belongs in the state or federal courts located in New York.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; changes take effect when posted here with a new effective date. Questions: info@connectnyc.com.
