Neighborhood Outreach Representative (field).
This is door-to-door and street-level outreach in Upper West Side apartment buildings and on the blocks around them. You tell people a second internet option exists and point interested residents to the building-check request on the website. You are not closing sales. ConnectNYC is operated by Wave2Wave LLC in Jericho, NY, a New York City wireless internet provider founded in 1999.

Upper West Side, Manhattan — on foot, building to building, W 57th–110th St, Central Park West to the Hudson · Part-time or full-time · W-2 hourly employee · non-exempt, overtime after 40 hours · paid weekly
Pay: $17.00–$24.00 per hour, plus a per-qualified-lead bonus under a written commission plan you sign before you start
What you do
- Cover assigned blocks and buildings on foot between W 57th and W 110th Street, Central Park West to the Hudson.
- Introduce ConnectNYC in short conversations at doors and on the street.
- Explain the residential plans and what they cost: $89, $119, and $149 per month.
- Point interested people to the building-check request on the website.
- Hand out printed material and answer basic questions about the service.
- Report which blocks and buildings you covered at the end of each shift.
What you bring
- Walk and stand for most of a shift, in most weather, including stairs.
- Start conversations with strangers and stay steady when people say no.
- Explain plans and prices in plain terms to people who are not technical.
- Work on your own for hours and keep a consistent pace.
- Use a smartphone to look up information and send in your shift report.
Schedule
Part-time or full-time, Monday through Saturday. Most hours fall in the late afternoon and early evening, with some weekend daytime shifts. Schedules are set in advance.
