Building Outreach Representative (phone).
This is an outbound calling job. You spend your day on the phone with the owners, managing agents, boards, and storefront businesses of Upper West Side buildings, introducing ConnectNYC and finding out whether a building can be served. The role is remote within New York, with occasional field days on the Upper West Side, and reports to a New York supervisor. ConnectNYC is operated by Wave2Wave LLC of Jericho, NY, a New York City wireless ISP founded in 1999 that provides fixed-wireless internet to buildings from W 57th to 110th Street, Central Park West to the Hudson.

What you do
- Make outbound calls to building owners, managing agents, board members, and storefront businesses on the Upper West Side.
- Explain what ConnectNYC service is, what it costs, and how installation works.
- Ask the questions that determine whether a building can be served.
- Reach the right decision maker for each building and follow up until you get an answer.
- Hand off buildings that qualify for a site survey.
- Join occasional field days on the Upper West Side to see buildings in person and meet contacts.
What you bring
- Hold a business conversation on the phone with a property manager or business owner and stay steady through rejection.
- Make a high volume of calls each day without losing accuracy.
- Write short, clear notes and emails in American English.
- Keep organized records and follow up on your own schedule without reminders.
- Use a computer, a headset, and standard office software reliably from a quiet workspace.
Schedule
Part-time or full-time, Monday through Friday during New York business hours, with no weekend or evening calling expected and occasional Upper West Side field days scheduled during the week. This is a W-2, non-exempt hourly job with overtime after 40 hours, paying $17.00–$24.00 per hour, plus a per-qualified-lead bonus under a written commission plan you sign before you start.
